How to become a Fellow?
Classical Fellowship and Junior Fellowship:
These Fellowships require detailed written applications. There are two deadlines for the applications: the last day of February and the last day of August. The application process and the required documents are described in detail in the guidelines; these guidelines and the application form can be found on the Downloads page in English and in German.

The Research Managers of each of the academic areas (see below) are available for questions regarding Fellowships and the application process. We recommend contacting us early.
Twin Fellowship, Associated Junior Fellowship, Artist in Residence, Guest of the Rector Fellowship:
There is a special application process with no deadline for these Fellowships. If you are interested, please contact the Rector of the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg or one of the Research Managers.
